Rachael’s yoga classes draw from her personal practice. She has been a student of yoga for over twenty years. Her goal is to teach a class that draws from personal experience in managing stress, tension patterns and reframing expectations.

Rachael lives in Leslieville, Toronto with her family. She believes in keeping a strong community around her as a key to life contentment.

Rachael has been a leader in the Toronto yoga world for over 16 years. From teaching classes to running her own studio her focus has always been on creating safe spaces for people to experience community, move and learn together. She has been an advocate for mental health education to end stigma and create awareness.

Rachael is a certified Trauma Informed Mindfulness Facilitator. After years of studying with the leading experts in Trauma Informed Yoga and Meditation she understands the tools and language required to assist in someone’s healing goals. Her goal in facilitating Trauma Informed Yoga education is to ensure everyone understands the benefits, best practices and multi-prong approach to mental health.

Rachael’s classes teach the practice that has been a major tool in managing her own health. Yoga can be intimidating but it’s simply attempting to stretch in all directions, linking movements to breath, moving all your muscles and then laying down to let it all wash over you. That is where the magic is. Her classes always include a meditation and gratitude practice. The goal is to feel balanced in your body and to strengthen your voice of gratitude and inner wisdom.
